A temporary residence card ( TRC Card ) considered as a long-term Visa issued by the Immigration Management Authority to foreigners allowed to reside in Vietnam. The information for a period of 01 year, 02 years, 03 year, the highest is 05 years and is valid for visa replacement. Holders of temporary residence cards are entitled to multiple entry and exit within the duration of temporary residence cards without having to extend the visa. AUTOMATIC STAY EXTENSION How to make temporary residence card
1. CONTINUE to implement “automatic stay extension” for foreign nationals until September 30th, 2020 (subjects and forms prescribed in paragraph 1 of the Diplomatic Note No. 6345/QLXNC dated May, 19th, 2020 which was sent to Embassies/Consulates). During “automatic stay extension” period, foreigners are required to complete temporary residence and health status declaration.
2. CONTINUE to implement the content of the Diplomatic Note No 4226/XNC dated March 30th, 2020 until September 30th, 2020.
3. Those foreign nationals who are not eligible for “automatic stay extension” or violate Vietnamese laws will be treated according to applicable laws of Vietnam.
4. For other cases, please follow the previous guidance of Vietnam Immigration Department .

- 2 pictures size 4×6 white background
- Health certificate
- The experience of working for 3 years must be consular legalized to be suitable for the type of business that is working and must be suitable for the specialization in a university degree.
- Criminal record certificate are granted oversea and must be consular legalized and Criminal record certificate are granted in Viet Nam
- Health examination paper at the hospital
